All Natural Death
Betty Bland sat in the doctor’s office, thumbing through a magazine. She yawned, as nothing interested her until she saw the ad. The Green-o-take diet ad. The logo was a simple stomach outline, with a green leafy tree silhouette in the middle. A new diet pill, which was all natural. One simple pill, that you just take once causes a plant to grow inside your stomach and you stay full all the time. Genius! thought Betty Bland.
A nurse called her back. “Doc will be right in!” she chimed. Soon, the doc came in the room.
“Your bloodwork came back great, but we need to get that weight off you!” he scolded. Betty clasped her meaty hands together in her lap.
“Have you heard of the Green-o-take diet, Doc?”
He smiled, “Why, yes! Saw a seminar on it, all the rage! I’m for anything natural!” he beamed. “Want a sample?”
She went home that day and took the Green-o-take pill. “I feel full all the time! Stuffed to the gills!” Betty gushed to her friend on the phone, a week later.
“How does it work again?” her friend asked, with doubtful interest.
“The pill grows a plant in your stomach, and it fills you up! Completely natural!” Betty squealed with excitement.
