Remember when a vacation was not deadly? That was fun, wasn’t it? Allow me to reminisce about my non deadly vacations. Memories are all I have, of that peaceful time.

A couple of years before covid, I took my second Carnival Cruise vacation. The first one was five years before that, to Jamaica. This second one though, was so much more fun, because I went with family. My adult niece, my 35-year-old son and his fiancé. Young, energetic people to keep me on my fifty-year-old toes! Also, on this one, we planned lots of fun excursions.

That first cruise vacay that I went with on, was with an old fuddy duddy co-worker, who did not want to do any fun things in Jamaica. The most I could get her to do was visit a turtle farm, in the Cayman Islands. Which was fun, but traveling that far to pet a turtle, just did not do it for me. Ya know?

This latest cruise, with my fam, was to Belize (ziplining and cave tubing), Honduras (Daniel Johnson’s Monkey and sloth hang out, and an Iguana Farm), Cozumel (swimming with dolphins). It was a five-day cruise and we packed it with adventures. Stay tuned, so I can tell you later what I would want to do again, next time. If there is a next time. I hope so!
